This kit has it all for hooves transitioning from shoes to barefoot. The 1/4" yellow pad can be used between the shoe and hoof on the last shoeing. The yellow with 1/4" blue will be used the first time the shoe is taken off. The white and/or multi are used on days the horse needs a little comfort. The 3/8" yellow is will be the last pad before the hoof goes barefoot.
